Description
2.1 Technical Details of the Scope of SupplyThe sale covers a complete package of the main components and the "Balance of Plant" (BoP):
Steam Turbines: 2x Mitsubishi TC2F-23 of 128.6 MW (3,000 rpm), double-flow tandem-compound configuration.
Generators: 2x Alstom T 240-370 130.2 MW (162.7 MVA, 50 Hz).
Boilers and Piping: Large bi-fuel (pulverized coal and fuel oil/diesel) steam generators complete with economizers, water walls, superheaters and main steam piping.
Auxiliary Systems: Seawater cooling systems, desalination plants, coal transport systems and dry ash management (MAC®).
Also included is the electrical infrastructure with main and auxiliary transformers.
Strategic Warehouse: Supply of the spare parts warehouse and a fundamental reserve GSU transformer (130/162 MVA), built in 2012, essential for the resilience of the plant.
2.2 Operational Status and Maintenance Operation: Unit 3 is currently operational and producing energy (shutdown expected at the end of 2026).
Unit 4 is connected and in a rigorous state of conservation (cold energized), used in part as a strategic basin for Unit 3. Useful life and operation: Machines at mid-life with approximately 180,000 - 188,000 hours of service.
The use profile is extremely favorable: continuous base load use with very few recorded starts (less than 100 per unit), which has drastically limited typical thermal fatigue damage. Compliance: Systems fully compliant with regulations, approved according to the most stringent European emission standards, with complete and available maintenance dossiers.
